During our inspection, we identified significant fungal growth, the absence of a proper vapor barrier, and structural deficiencies within the crawlspace. Several floor joists and sections of the rim joist had sustained termite damage and required repair or reinforcement. Additionally, the floor system lacked adequate structural support.

To restore stability and prepare the home for future inspection, our team installed a supplemental beam system supported by Power Posts to properly reinforce and stabilize the floor above. These improvements have significantly enhanced the structural integrity and overall condition of the crawlspace, positioning the home for a smoother inspection process when it is placed on the market.

After a detailed evaluation and laser level measurements, we identified approximately a one-inch drop in a section of the home. The floor joists in that area were overspanned, leading to structural movement and settlement.

To permanently correct the issue, we installed a reinforced beam system supported by adjustable Power Post supports. This solution stabilized the structure and restored proper support to the affected area.

With the new support system in place, the homeowner no longer has to worry about continued floor settlement or structural movement. Their home is now properly supported and protected for the long term.

we recently completed a full crawlspace encapsulation project designed to eliminate standing water, control humidity, and provide long-term protection for the home. During our initial inspection, we found that the crawlspace was holding water and the existing vapor barrier was damaged, allowing moisture to penetrate and create unfavorable conditions. To address these concerns, we recommended and installed the Crawlspace Titans Moisture Management System, a comprehensive solution tailored to the unique challenges of this property.

The system began with the installation of drainage (dimple) matting to promote water flow throughout the crawlspace. This matting directed water toward the lowest point of the crawlspace, where we installed a sump pump and basin to collect and safely discharge water away from the home. We then encapsulated the entire crawlspace with a heavy-duty 125-mil vapor barrier and added reflective insulation to improve energy efficiency. To further seal and protect the space, a new insulated crawlspace door was installed, preventing outside air and moisture from entering.

To complete the project, we installed a top-of-the-line Aprilaire dehumidifier to maintain stable moisture and humidity levels. Backed by our fully transferable warranty, this project left the homeowner thrilled with both the results and the professionalism of our team.
