Why did the customer contact us?
The homeowner contacted Crawlspace Titans after inheriting the property following the passing of their parents. As they began preparing the home for a potential sale, they wanted to ensure the crawlspace was properly evaluated and any necessary repairs were addressed.
Although some prior work had been performed by another crawlspace contractor, the homeowner requested that Crawlspace Titans conduct a thorough inspection and provide an independent assessment with professional recommendations.
Solutions provided:
During our inspection, we identified significant fungal growth, the absence of a proper vapor barrier, and structural deficiencies within the crawlspace. Several floor joists and sections of the rim joist had sustained termite damage and required repair or reinforcement. Additionally, the floor system lacked adequate structural support.
To restore stability and prepare the home for future inspection, our team installed a supplemental beam system supported by Power Posts to properly reinforce and stabilize the floor above. These improvements have significantly enhanced the structural integrity and overall condition of the crawlspace, positioning the home for a smoother inspection process when it is placed on the market.
