Job completed for Magen F

Completion date: November 20, 2025

Location: Decherd, TN

Why did the customer contact us?

We were contacted by the customer’s realtor, who reached out based on our trusted service and reputation.  The property was currently involved in a real estate transaction and required immediate remediation to address flooding, fungal growth, and structural issues before the sale could proceed.

Solutions provided:

Upon inspection, we found significant evidence of moisture intrusion, highlighted by conspicuous water staining along the basement walls. Furthermore, the home displayed concerning structural damage affecting both the floor joists and the foundation walls. Since portions of the crawl space were inaccessible, we first recommended and executed selective excavation to fully expose critical areas for repair. Following this, existing fungal growth was professionally treated, and a high-capacity sump pump system was installed to manage and remove unwanted water effectively. To address the structural deficiencies, we installed PowerPosts Structural Support systems in conjunction with supplemental beams and applied carbon fiber reinforcement straps to the foundation walls for enhanced stability. The project was finalized with a complete encapsulation of the basement area, including the installation of a new vapor barrier, ensuring a dry, stable, and protected environment.
