Job completed for Thomas R.

Completion date: December 16, 2025

Location: Mt Juliet, TN

Why did the customer contact us?

The client was in the process of purchasing a new home and was referred to Crawlspace Titans by a previous customer. During the home inspection, concerns were noted regarding fungal growth in the crawlspace, a damaged and ineffective vapor barrier, and signs of moisture intrusion along the perimeter walls. Wanting to move forward with confidence, the homebuyer contacted us for a professional evaluation and clear recommendations to address these issues and protect the home long-term.

Solutions provided:

After completing a thorough inspection, our specialist recommended extending the home’s downspouts to properly divert roof water away from the foundation and reduce moisture intrusion along the perimeter. The existing damaged vapor barrier was removed, and a full fungal cleaning was performed to disinfect and restore the crawlspace. Following the cleaning, a new white vapor barrier was installed and securely sealed to prevent ground moisture from entering the crawlspace.

The homeowner now has a cleaner, drier crawlspace with improved moisture control. We will continue to monitor the home, and if elevated moisture or fungal growth persists, we have outlined a future plan to upgrade the space with a full crawlspace encapsulation and dehumidifier for long-term protection.
