Job completed for Glen V.

Completion date: January 6, 2026

Location: Franklin, TN

Why did the customer contact us?

The homeowner contacted our team after noticing soft and uneven flooring in the kitchen, along with floor squeaking throughout both the kitchen and living areas. They requested an evaluation of the floor levelness and humidity conditions within the crawlspace.

Solutions provided:

Our inspection revealed elevated moisture levels, visible fungal growth, a deteriorated vapor barrier, and failing insulation. Floor measurements confirmed uneven support beneath the kitchen area. To correct these issues, we recommended and installed a Power Post support system with poly-based engineered footers to properly stabilize and support the affected floors.

As part of the project, all debris and damaged materials were removed from the crawlspace, including the compromised vapor barrier. A new white poly vapor barrier was then installed to effectively seal ground moisture and improve overall crawlspace conditions. Upon completion, the crawlspace showed a dramatic improvement in appearance, and the homeowner immediately noted a more solid, supported feel throughout the kitchen and living areas.
