Job completed for Jerry P.

Completion date: January 6, 2026

Location: Liberty, TN

Why did the customer contact us?

The homeowner contacted us after noticing that a vapor barrier installed several years ago was showing significant wear and deterioration. They also observed that the crawl space insulation appeared to be failing and were concerned about potential damage to the ductwork. Our team was asked to perform a thorough inspection of the vapor barrier, insulation, and visible mechanical components to determine the best course of action.

Solutions provided:

Following the inspection, we recommended removing all damaged and contaminated materials, including the existing vapor barrier. A new, fully sealed vapor barrier was installed to effectively prevent ground moisture from entering the crawl space. We also replaced damaged insulation and rehung existing insulation to ensure it was properly secured and positioned for maximum performance. With the vapor barrier correctly sealed and the insulation installed as intended, the crawl space is now in much better condition and better equipped to control moisture and protect the home.
