The homeowner contacted us looking to fully encapsulate their crawlspace and improve the existing insulation. In addition to moisture control, they wanted a safe, accessible area for their family in the event of severe weather, which required a custom-built crawlspace access hatch. They also expressed concerns about ongoing water intrusion in the crawlspace.

After a thorough inspection, we recommended a full crawlspace encapsulation with insulation installed along the perimeter walls for improved energy efficiency and moisture control. To address the water issues, we repaired and upgraded the existing sump pump and improved the drainage system to better manage groundwater.

As part of the project, we designed and built a custom crawlspace access hatch that blends seamlessly with the living space while providing safe and reliable access when needed. From start to finish, the homeowner was pleased with our clear communication, professionalism, and attention to detail, from our lead inspector and office staff to our installation team. Upon completion, we provided detailed photos of the work performed along with applicable warranties, ensuring complete confidence in the final results.
