Luxury New Construction Crawl Space Encapsulation & Moisture Control

The homeowner and builder contacted us regarding elevated moisture and humidity levels in the crawl space of a multimillion-dollar custom home. Due to the size and complexity of this new construction project, which had been in progress for over a year, the crawl space required a comprehensive and carefully executed moisture control solution.

After a detailed inspection, we designed a multi-layered approach to fully address the moisture concerns.  Our scope of work included:

Full Crawl Space Encapsulation We installed a high-performance encapsulation system to prevent ground moisture and wall vapor intrusion from entering the crawl space and contributing to fungal growth and mold development.

Two-Step Fungal Treatment Process Our team performed a complete remediation using our proprietary two-step cleaning and treatment system, eliminating active growth and protecting the space moving forward.

Foundation Wall Insulation Due to the height and size of the crawl space walls, we installed insulation along the foundation walls to enhance energy efficiency and help regulate crawl space temperatures. This also plays a critical role in long-term humidity control.

Sealed Crawl Space Door Installation To complete the system, we installed a properly sealed crawl space door to maintain the integrity of the encapsulated environment.

The result is a clean, controlled, and energy-efficient crawl space that matches the quality and craftsmanship of the home above it.  The builder was extremely pleased with the attention to detail, professionalism, and overall execution demonstrated by our team.
