This project came to us when a client was relocating from out of state to Hohenwald. After their home inspection, they wanted peace of mind knowing the crawlspace was properly addressed and that the home would be protected from future moisture and structural issues.

Following a thorough crawlspace inspection, we recommended a complete moisture control system, including full crawlspace encapsulation, exterior drainage improvements, and humidity control under the home. Like many homes in Middle Tennessee, this property showed signs of excess moisture and conditions that could lead to fungal growth if left untreated. To further protect the home, we installed buried downspout extensions to move water safely away from the foundation. This not only helps prevent water from re-entering the crawlspace, but also gives the homeowner a clean, low-maintenance solution, no pipes laying in the yard to move when mowing or maintaining the property.

Due to the high humidity levels common in Howenwald, Tennessee, we also installed a professional-grade AprilAire dehumidifier to regulate moisture levels year-round. This system efficiently removes excess humidity and drains it safely to the exterior, helping prevent mold, wood rot, and poor air quality inside the home.
