Job completed for Cole P

Completion date: August 28, 2026

Location: Smithville, TN

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer contacted Crawlspace Titans to evaluate the remaining crawlspace work and determine what was left to complete. They also wanted to compare the cost and benefits of installing a vapor barrier versus a full crawlspace encapsulation system, while addressing water drainage concerns from the downspouts.

Solutions provided:

Completed removal and proper disposal of damaged or contaminated debris from the crawlspace. Moderate organic growth was treated using a two-step cleaning and disinfection process, including brush and spray application to affected crawlspace surfaces.

Two Titans 1/2 HP Elite Sump Pump Systems were installed, with one located in the left rear corner of the home and one in the low area of the right side of the crawlspace. A Titans Crawlspace Flow drainage system was installed along the left side of the crawlspace to capture and redirect groundwater to the sump pump system.

A 12 mil woven white vapor barrier was installed throughout the crawlspace to improve moisture protection, including the use of customer-provided plastic. All crawlspace vents were sealed, and an 80 PPD Elite Series Titans Dehumidifier was installed with a condensation pump and exterior drainage to provide long-term humidity and moisture control.
