Our team recently completed a comprehensive crawlspace remediation and moisture control project to protect a home’s structural integrity and improve indoor air quality. We began by removing all damaged and contaminated insulation and debris. To address mold and mildew concerns, we performed a light organic growth cleaning across the subfloor, joists, rim joists, and sill plates using a non-toxic, environmentally friendly disinfectant combined with targeted brush and spray treatments.

To ensure long-term protection against moisture, wood rot, and pest activity, we installed a high-capacity, energy-efficient 70PPD Elite Series Dehumidifier System complete with a dedicated condensation pump plumbed for exterior drainage. Finally, we installed R11 white-faced insulation along the foundation walls to enhance the home's thermal performance, eliminate drafts, and reduce energy costs. The result is a clean, dry, and energy-efficient crawlspace that safeguards the health of the entire home.
