Job completed for Glenn J.

Completion date: August 17, 2026

Location: Franklin, TN

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer contacted us because they have two HVAC units and believe a dehumidifier may be needed to help control moisture and humidity levels in the crawlspace.

Solutions provided:

The crawlspace was prepared and improved for moisture and environmental control by removing and disposing of 2,408 sq. ft. of existing inappropriate insulation and treating 500 sq. ft. of light organic growth on affected wood surfaces. A reinforced 12-mil woven white poly encapsulation system was installed throughout the 2,408 sq. ft. crawlspace, including sealing eight crawlspace vents. Two 9” x 5” ventilation openings were created in the CMU beneath the back patio to improve airflow. Two 120 PPD performance dehumidifier systems were installed with condensation pumps and exterior drainage, supported by a dedicated electrical circuit and upgraded GFCI breakers. A 15-foot curtain/French drain was installed to help manage surface and groundwater, and two failed metal shims were removed and replaced with structural-grade shims to restore proper support and load transfer.
