The customer contacted us because the home is under contract and the seller wants to address the crawlspace issues at minimal cost before selling. The buyers are concerned about water intrusion, high humidity, condensation around the ductwork, and fungal growth in the crawlspace. They also want the downspouts checked for possible extensions and the negative exterior grading evaluated as potential sources of moisture.

The solutions provided were to install a new standard crawlspace door, repair and secure the existing vapor barrier to improve moisture protection, and clean and treat approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of light organic growth on affected crawlspace surfaces.
