The customer contacted us regarding a damp 900 sq. ft. basement with high humidity, 10-year-old black plastic, and white fungal growth on the joists. The customer is interested in crawlspace encapsulation and installation of a dehumidifier.

Provided comprehensive crawlspace remediation and moisture-control services, including two-step cleaning and disinfection of moderate organic growth on exposed crawlspace surfaces. Removed and properly disposed of contaminated debris, then installed a reinforced 12 mil woven white poly encapsulation system across the crawlspace floor, foundation walls, and piers, with seams mechanically fastened and sealed. Installed a new standard crawlspace door and sealed four crawlspace vents to support a controlled environment. Installed a 50 PPD Elite Series Titans dehumidifier with a condensation pump and exterior drainage to regulate humidity and help prevent future mold and moisture-related issues.
