The customer contacted us because the crawlspace had weakened floor joists, light organic growth, a damaged vapor barrier, unsealed crawlspace vents, and humidity concerns requiring structural reinforcement and moisture control.

We reinforced the damaged floor joists by installing 12 new 2x8 sister joists, treated approximately 1,400 sq. ft. of affected surfaces for light organic growth, repaired and secured approximately two sections of the existing vapor barrier, sealed 13 crawlspace vents, and installed a 120 PPD performance dehumidifier system with a condensation pump and exterior drainage. We also provided the required dedicated electrical outlet installation for the dehumidifier to ensure proper operation and long-term humidity control.
