The customer contacted us due to drainage and moisture concerns around the home, including water flow toward the foundation and crawlspace. The inspection also identified fungal growth, issues with the sump pump and drainage system, and areas of damaged or inadequate vapor barrier coverage.

We provided a comprehensive drainage and moisture-control solution. This included extending and redirecting downspouts away from the home, repairing the front-right porch downspout connection, and installing a catch basin with a curtain drain, gravel, PVC piping, and pop-up drain. A curtain drain was installed at the low point of the property to redirect surface water away from the foundation, including additional drainage beneath hard surfaces where needed. The sump pump was repaired, the surrounding basin was improved with additional excavation and gravel, and a sump pump drainage system was installed to discharge water away from the home. We also treated the crawlspace for fungal growth using a full Bioesque disinfectant application and repaired 500 square feet of the vapor barrier with 20-mil woven white poly. Additional 50 feet of sump pump drainage was also added to improve overall water management.
