The customer contacted us due to fungal growth in the crawlspace and structural concerns involving damaged floor joists and inadequate or improper support pillars. The existing support system required additional reinforcement to improve the stability and levelness of the floor system.

We provided a combination of fungal treatment and structural reinforcement. The crawlspace will receive a full Bioesque disinfectant treatment with hand and brush scrubbing of accessible organic surfaces, followed by Bora-Care with Mold-Care to treat and protect wood surfaces against fungal growth and wood-destroying insects. For the structural concerns, seven Power Posts with poly-based engineered footers will be installed to replace and supplement the existing improper support system, including new support beams in the front-right and center areas of the crawlspace. Seven damaged floor joists will also be replaced with new joists of similar size and length. An additional Power Post stabilizer system with engineered footers and a 4x6 support beam will provide further reinforcement and help improve floor stability and levelness.
